Instagram Story Downloader

Baixargram reads the whole Story behind the link you paste and lists every photo and video in it, so you can save each item in its original quality. No app to install, no account to create.

How to download Instagram Stories

Saving an Instagram Story takes under thirty seconds and needs no account, installation or sign-up. Copy the Story's address, paste it into the field above, and save the file — the walkthrough below covers iPhone and Android.

Copy the Story link

Open Instagram and go to the Story you want to keep. Tap the three dots in the top-right corner and choose Copy link. On a computer, the same menu sits next to the profile name in the top bar. The copied link looks like instagram.com/stories/username/1234567890.

Paste the link into the field above

Come back to this page and paste the address into the input. On mobile, press and hold the field and tap Paste; on desktop, use Ctrl+V (Windows) or Cmd+V (macOS). Then hit Download.

Save the file to your device

Within seconds the page shows a preview of the Story, the file size and the download button. Tap it and the item goes to your device's download folder: on iPhone it appears in the Files app under Downloads; on Android, in the Download folder of internal storage.

Download Stories without logging in

A fair question: if I download a Story, will the person know?

Baixargram never asks you to log in and never touches your account — the download runs on our servers, never from your profile. You never type a password: the tool reads the Story's public address and hands the files back on the page.

One point deserves precision: if you already opened the Story in the app before downloading it, that view stays on the record. It happened inside Instagram and cannot be undone. The download itself happens here, without your Instagram profile.

Download every photo and video in a Story

A Story is rarely a single item. A profile often posts three to ten items across a day, each with its own address behind the same link.

Our tool reads the whole Story from the pasted address and lists every item separately, with a thumbnail, its type (photo or video) and the file size. You choose what to save and can grab everything in one go.

One limit is not ours: Instagram deletes Stories 24 hours after they are posted. While a Story is live it can be downloaded; after that the link ceases to exist and no tool can recover the file.

If what you want is a video from a profile's permanent feed, head to Instagram video downloader; for short vertical clips in the Reels tab, see the Reels downloader.

What are Instagram Stories?

Stories are temporary posts that stay visible for 24 hours in the bar at the top of the app. Unlike a regular post, a Story gets no public likes and no permanent comments. A Story can be a photo, a short video, a sequence of several items, a poll or a link.

Because they are temporary, Stories leave the profile once they expire — unless the creator saves them to Highlights.

Instagram describes the format at about.instagram.com.

How to copy a Story link

Stories are different from Reels and feed posts: there is no share button on someone else’s Story. The way in is through the Story’s own menu.

  1. Open the Story you want to save until it fills the screen.
  2. Tap the three dots in the top-right corner.
  3. Tap Copy link.

If the Copy link option does not appear, the account is almost certainly private. In that case there is no public link to copy — and no serious tool can download content from a private account.

Expired Stories: can they still be downloaded?

No. Instagram removes a Story 24 hours after posting and its address stops existing. No tool, free or paid, has access to what Instagram has already deleted.

There is, however, one useful exception: Highlights. When a creator saves a Story to Highlights it stops being temporary and stays pinned to the profile. The content remains public and downloads normally — just copy the link of the item inside the Highlight.

If you tend to keep Stories, download them the same day.

Key features

  • Free, no sign-up. We ask for no email, phone number or Instagram account. The link field is the only data this page receives.
  • A whole Story in one list. A single link can contain several items; we show them all, with thumbnails and sizes, instead of making you repeat the process photo by photo.
  • No watermark. The file comes straight from Instagram's servers at the original resolution, with no text layer or logo added by us.
  • Original audio preserved. Story videos arrive with the audio they were posted with, not a substitute track.
  • Works on iPhone, Android and desktop. No app to install, no extension to enable.
  • No download limit. Save as many Stories as you need, at your own pace.

Can I download a Story without installing anything?

No. Baixargram runs entirely in the browser on your phone or computer. Nothing gets installed on the device and no account is needed.

Where does the downloaded Story go on iPhone and Android?

On iPhone the saved file lands in the Files app under Downloads; on Android it goes to the Download folder in internal storage.

Can I download a Story from a private account?

No. A Story from a private account has no public address — the content is only visible to approved followers, so there is no link to paste and nothing a tool can reach from the outside. If a site claims it can download from private accounts, it is most likely about to ask for your login: do not give it.

Can a Story be downloaded after 24 hours?

No, with one exception. After 24 hours Instagram deletes the Story and its address stops responding. The exception is Highlights: if the creator saved the Story to Highlights, it stays public and can be downloaded normally, even months later.

Will the person know I downloaded their Story?

We send no notification to the creator — the download happens outside the app, without your Instagram account. What was already on the record stays: if you opened the Story in the app before downloading, that view is Instagram's, not this tool's.

Is there a download limit or a hidden charge?

Yes, with no download limit. There is no paid plan, no trial period, no required sign-up and no hidden charge — the page is supported by advertising alone.
